Who makes what you buy

Nixe Beauty does not manufacture anything. Every product here is formulated, filled, packed and shipped by the brand named on the product page.

Rose Gold Sunless — all self-tanning: mousse, facial tanning mist, mitt, brush and exfoliating glove. Woman-owned, vegan and cruelty-free, made fresh in small batches.
Marée — the Prep & Extend shelf: acids, scrubs and moisturisers used before and after a tan.
Solawave — FDA-cleared red light therapy devices.

All three ship from their own warehouses in the United States. We say this plainly because a lot of online skincare does not. If you cannot tell who made a product, that is usually deliberate.

Note on origin: “ships from a US warehouse” is not the same as “made in the USA”. Where a formula is manufactured outside the United States, the manufacturer states it on the pack, and we will tell you if you ask.

Ingredient lists

The complete INCI list for every product is printed on its packaging by the manufacturer, exactly as United States labelling law requires.

We are in the middle of publishing those lists here as well, brand by brand, taken directly from the manufacturers rather than retyped from photographs. Until a product's list appears in the Ingredients section of its page, write to us and we will send you the manufacturer's list for that product before you order. We would rather tell you we do not have it yet than print something we are not certain of.

What is in the self-tan

The Rose Gold Sunless formulas are built around DHA — the sugar-derived active every self-tanner uses — with hyaluronic acid, Kakadu plum, watermelon extract and white tea for hydration. Dark neutral bronze base, no red or orange undertone. Vegan, cruelty-free, no parabens.

If you have an allergy

Please do not rely on a product description or a marketing claim. Ask us for the manufacturer's full ingredient list, check it against what you react to, and patch-test on a small area before using anything new. If you have a diagnosed skin condition or are pregnant or nursing, talk to your doctor first.

What we will not do

We will not guess at an ingredient list, quote a dose we cannot source from the manufacturer, or describe a cosmetic as though it were a medicine. Skincare can look after skin. It cannot treat disease, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.
